La l\u00f3gica detr\u00e1s de esta medida radica en que la pensi\u00f3n de viudedad busca compensar la p\u00e9rdida econ\u00f3mica tras la muerte del c\u00f3nyuge, lo cual se vuelve innecesario con una nueva relaci\u00f3n conyugal o de hecho, donde el nuevo c\u00f3nyuge o pareja asume las responsabilidades econ\u00f3micas.<\/p>\n<p>Para que se produzca la extinci\u00f3n de la pensi\u00f3n por una nueva relaci\u00f3n de hecho, esta debe ser estable, notoria, y registrada en la Comunidad Aut\u00f3noma o Ayuntamiento con antelaci\u00f3n.
