Un peque\u00f1o macaco japon\u00e9s abandonado al nacer en el zool\u00f3gico de la ciudad de Ichikawa, y que desde entonces no se separa de un peluche que se ha convertido en una madre improvisada, ha conquistado la atenci\u00f3n del p\u00fablico en Jap\u00f3n y de las redes sociales.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Punch, de solo siete meses, se ha convertido en el protagonista del recinto despu\u00e9s de que su imagen diera la vuelta al mundo, dijo a EFE un portavoz del centro, Takashi Yasunaga, y cada d\u00eda miles de personas se acercan al zoo a seguir su d\u00eda a d\u00eda.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Punch fue criado por el personal del zoo tras ser rechazado por su madre al nacer en julio del a\u00f1o pasado, algo que ocurre ocasionalmente en esta especie, y que seg\u00fan Yasunaga en el caso del peque\u00f1o mono podr\u00eda deberse a la inexperiencia de su progenitora y a las altas temperaturas.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Una madre de felpa<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cLos beb\u00e9s de macaco japon\u00e9s se suelen agarrar a sus madres o a otros ejemplares para sentirse seguros\u201d, explic\u00f3 Yasunaga, por lo que sus cuidadoras acabaron confi\u00e1ndole un peluche de orangut\u00e1n naranja que se ha convertido en un fiel sustituto materno.<\/span><\/div>\n
\n

Primero probaron con toallas para que el animal tuviera un punto de apoyo, pero la cr\u00eda termin\u00f3 por aferrarse a un\u00a0llamativo peluche<\/b>. Desde entonces, seg\u00fan el portavoz de este zoo situado en la periferia tokiota,\u00a0el peque\u00f1o duerme abrazado a este sustituto improvisado.<\/b><\/p>\n

Camina, come y juega durante el d\u00eda pegado al juguete cuando su entorno le resulta algo abrumador, sin por tanto estar aislado por completo del grupo de macacos en el zoo, formado por otros 56 ejemplares.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Varios videos compartidos en las redes sociales, y que se volvieron r\u00e1pidamente virales, mostraron a Punch intimidado con los otros ejemplares de su especie poco despu\u00e9s de ser reintroducido al grupo el pasado enero.<\/p>\n

El pasado 5 de febrero,\u00a0el zool\u00f3gico present\u00f3 oficialmente al animal en su cuenta de X,<\/b>\u00a0recibiendo miles de mensajes en la red social animando al joven primate.<\/p>\n

Como resultado, un total de 8.000 personas visitaron el recinto el pasado fin de semana. \u201cEl doble de lo normal para esta \u00e9poca\u201d, dijo Yasunaga, quien subray\u00f3 que hoy, pese a ser d\u00eda laborable, la zona registra una afluencia inusual con \u201cvarias filas de gente\u201d.<\/p>\n

Camino a la independencia<\/h3>\n

Punch, que ya ronda los dos kilos, contin\u00faa recibiendo alimentaci\u00f3n por parte de los cuidadores, que poco a poco van integrando m\u00e1s al animal con el resto de miembros del grupo.<\/p>\n

\u201cPunch est\u00e1 mejorando su interacci\u00f3n con la manada.<\/b>\u00a0Le acicalan,\u00a0intenta molestar a los dem\u00e1s, le rega\u00f1an.\u00a0<\/b>Aprende d\u00eda a d\u00eda a vivir como un mono dentro de la manada\u201d, explican los miembros del zool\u00f3gico a trav\u00e9s de su red social X, en un tweet que ya acumula cuatro millones de visualizaciones.<\/p>\n

Bajo hashtags como\u00a0#AnimoPunch<\/b>, las redes contin\u00faan animando al peque\u00f1o mientras consigue integrarse en el grupo, no sin olvidarse de su inseparable compa\u00f1ero.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
