La decisi\u00f3n de tres miembros del <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TCE_Ecuador?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@TCE_Ecuador<\/a> huele m\u00e1s a persecuci\u00f3n y\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/0hOucNplfN\">pic.twitter.com\/0hOucNplfN<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Pabel Mu\u00f1oz L. (@pabelml) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/pabelml\/status\/1901411124379332871?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 16, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"b-article-body__h2\"><b>Antecedentes<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">En abril de 2024, el TCE ratific\u00f3 que Mu\u00f1oz realiz\u00f3 proselitismo pol\u00edtico al apoyar a Luisa Gonz\u00e1lez en las elecciones anticipadas de 2023. Como sanci\u00f3n, pag\u00f3 una multa de USD 9 000 y ofreci\u00f3 disculpas p\u00fablicas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">El pedido de revocatoria, impulsado por el colectivo Cuida Tu Voto, fue inicialmente rechazado por el Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE) y por un juez del TCE. Sin embargo, el pleno del TCE revirti\u00f3 esta decisi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<div class=\"autors-widget\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Mu\u00f1oz critica el momento en que se acepta el proceso, coincidiendo con la segunda vuelta electoral, y denuncia una clara intenci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica detr\u00e1s de la medida.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"b-article-body__h2\"><b>Respuesta de Mu\u00f1oz<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Si se recolectan las firmas necesarias, se llevar\u00eda a cabo una consulta popular para decidir la continuidad de Mu\u00f1oz en la Alcald\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Adem\u00e1s, Mu\u00f1oz rechaz\u00f3 las acusaciones de incumplimiento de funciones y destaca los avances en transporte p\u00fablico, parques, v\u00edas, ambiente y ayuda social durante su gesti\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">El CNE tiene 15 d\u00edas, desde el 14 de marzo, para entregar los formularios para la recolecci\u00f3n de firmas.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pabel Mu\u00f1oz, califico de \u201cpersecuci\u00f3n\u201d, \u201cc\u00e1lculo pol\u00edtico\u201d y \u201cbarbaridad jur\u00eddica\u201d la reciente decisi\u00f3n del Tribunal Contencioso Electoral (TCE) de activar un proceso de revocatoria en su contra.
